Born and raised in Nova Scotia, I am no stranger to representing both my Province and my Nation at National and International events. Events like the Canada Games and Road World Championships were major motivators for myself since the Junior level of my career. My interest in sports and competition started at a young age with both cycling and cross country skiing, two sports I pursue to this day. My cycling started at a young age, being pulled around by my Dad in the trailer bike. Once I had a bike of my own, I was able to pursue competition and quickly found that it was in blood.
